Comparison of Whole Genome Sequencing Between the Manual Illumina MiSeq™ System and the Automated Clear Labs Clear Dx™ to Support the Antimicrobial Resistance Laboratory Network

Nebraska Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) demonstrated that the fully automated Clear Dx™ Microbial Surveillance WGS platform improved laboratory efficiency and provided results faster than manual NGS workflow, thereby enabling rapid detection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
